Bernie Carreno is opening an exhibition entitled Profusion at his gallery. Profusion is a collection of small scale works in bronze, steel, and iron. The art explores the placement of open and closed spaces as a venue to communicate contrasting points of view.

Carreno is the head of the sculpture department at the Indianapolis Art Center. He has a MFA and BFA in Sculpture from the University of Wisconsin. He has completed numerous large scale public sculptures as well as many private commissions and is in private and public collections around the country. His work is exhibited in private galleries as well as museums. He is an accomplished sculptor nationally recognized as a master of fabricated (welded-steel and aluminum) sculpture and cast metal sculpture (aluminum, bronze and iron). Carreno has taught at the Art Center for over 7 years.
