From the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation:

Hello Artists!

I would like to invite you to be apart of an art show I am organizing. I am putting this event together to help raise money for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is an awesome cause. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a fatal lung disease that primarily affects children and shortens their life expectancy to an average of 37 years old. The foundation is a privately funded by events like this! Please read the details below and let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested in participating. Also, if you would rather not be in the show but would like to donate a painting please let me know and I will be more than happy to accommodate.

Here are all of the current details:

The show will be held on Friday, August 28, 2009 at The Rathskeller downtown in the main ballroom at 7:30p.m.

We are asking each artist for an entry fee of $20 and to donate 25% of their proceeds from the evening of the art show to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The entry fee will be due by August 14, the money from proceeds due a week after the event. We are charging guests $5 to attend the event- all of this will go to the CF Foundation. This art event will be featured on couple radio spots, in the Indy Magazine next month, Indyscene, Cystic Fibrosis Guys & Dolls wesbite and we will have tons of other awesome advertising. We are estimating anywhere from 1000 – 1500 people to attend.

Please no distasteful, provocative, morbid...pieces. Some of the Cystic Fibrosis families will attend with their children and we just want to keep it classy.

If you would like to participate or have any questions please email me give me a call at 765-749-3584 or email me at

Please know this is going to be an awesome event and a ton of fun. I can’t wait to hear from you and see all the wonderful talents you all have!

Thank you so much,
Maria Muhlenkamp
