Call to Artists: Athenaeum seeks Exhibitors

The Athenaeum ArtSpace, Indy's newest art venue, is seeking artists for its May First Friday exhibition. Artists of all media are encouraged to submit work to this non-juries "spring-themed" exhibition*. Artists are welcome to submit multiple works.

All hanging art should be framed and ready to hang. All sculpture or 3D work should be a reasonable weight and size for ease of transport. This is a three week long exhibition. All work must be delivered between April 27 - 29 and picked up between May 20 - 22.

Please send your intent to submit with a photo of each piece to Kevin Gierman (317-655-2755 x152 or KevinGierman@Athenaeumfoundation.com) and include the following information no later than April 17:

• Approximate size of artwork

The Athenaeum ArtSpace's mission is to introduce the public to work they've never seen before by displaying the work of emerging young artists and unkown artists in an effort to support the "Sound Mind and Sound Body" concepts that are central to the creation and the history of the Atheneaum.

*The Athenaeum ArtSpace reserves the right to deny exhibition of a piece for any reason.
