Artists are invited to submit an RFQ to a mural competition, the Festival of Murals, in Wayne County/Richmond, Indiana for the summer of 2010.; Deadline is March 1, 2010.
Currently, $5,000 will be awarded for the top award and $1,000 stipends for non-winning artists will be given.; Selection includes an artist residency where artists will participate in painting a mural and be involved with other activities.
Please review the website and information on the RFQ.; Selected non-local artists (more than 85 miles outside of Wayne County, Indiana); will be lodged.; Artists may be filmed for a program or documentary and the opportunity to commune with the other artists.
