The SullivanMunce Cultural Center is hosting the Go Figure exhibiton. The depiction of the human form, its rhythm and sensitivity, has for generations been viewed with fascination from the earliest cave art and hand formed clay to today’s contemporary works in mixed media, paint, bronze and digital representations.
Utilizing line, form, volume and gesture, artists through the ages have expressed the human condition, expressing tragedy and ecstasy and the wonder of life.
On display are works by Caroline Mecklin, Jim Gerard, Judy Leiviska, Tim Engelland, and Vandra Pentecost. Sculptural works by Matthew Davey, Jacob Dobson, and Pat Mack are also on display. Their works showcase a variety of styles with a wide range of media that celebrate figurative art.
