Cyanotype Workshop with Casey Roberts

Create your own cyanotype based on the exhibition Freaky Forest: Works by Casey Roberts. Participants will receive a guided tour of the exhibition, learn about the history and process of cyanotypes and work directly with Indianapolis based artist, Casey Roberts, to make their own print. Participants may also have the opportunity to hand paint their prints.

Cyanotype, also know as a sun print or the blue print process is a photochemical, contact print process. When exposed to sunlight and developed a cyanotype gives a vibrant blue image. Cyanotypes are one of the very first photographic processes and was discovered nearly 170 years ago.
